    Hi,

    Could any one tell me sql server 2008 supports dbmirroring and failover clustering supports in express or workgroup editions?

    No, these both servers can work for as a witness server only and no failover clustering supports available on these editions

    Standard and Enterprise edition only. Standard edition supports synchronous mirroring, Enterprise supports synchronous and asynchronous mirroring.
