sp_send_dbmail ERROR

    My database mail was working perfectly on a clustered instance of SQL Server 2005. I changed the cluster name and now I'm getting this error.

    Failed to open loopback connection.

    Any ideas?

    A quick follow-up. This error resulted when I was trying to send an attachment. When I removed the attachment parameter, it says "Mail queued." but the mail never sends.

    If I check the Log File viewer for database mail, it shows that it stopped on 1/22 and has not started again, despite sending test messages from the console and from queries.
