Is it possible to run SSRS 2008 R2 with SP1 but the SSAS 2008 R2 remain at RTM? Are there any potential issues with doing that? Thanks.

Why do you want to go down that route?

Because we need to resolve an issue with SSRS that SP1 should fix but we do not want to upgrade the cube and DB clusters yet due to the possible extended downtime.

I see.
I've worked with mixed environements in the past and I can say it was a pita.
I wouldn't recommend it just because it feels funny, however fully retesting your systems in QA should tell you if this road can be used.
Hopefully someone else with experience in that matter can comment.
