Our company wants to have a "command center" type view of our entire sql server environment, which to me seems like an enterprise wide dashboard system that basically shows red/yellow/green type visibility into all of our servers for CPU/memory/Disk etc. Does anyone know of a product that offers this? Or have any information on creating this type of project from scratch? thanks!
I'd have a look at Quest Spotlight. This has a 'traffic light' system to view your SQL estate and the ability to drill down into a server to look at CPU, memory, etc.
I think they do a free trial as well!
