There's no close option. Why do you need one? Just post and say the problem is fixed so that people reading it know that you're sorted out.

Like in MSDN we something propose as answer and it means that it is finished,There is no such feature in SScentral.:-)

Who is qualified to say which answer in a thread is the best?
Not the person who asked, if he knew what the best answer was he wouldn't be asking the question
Other forum members? That often just results in pettiness as people vote down answers from people they don't like and vote up answers of those they do, regardless of the merit of the answer.
Hence the decision here to leave it as discussion forums, not with a dfined answer.
If you want to definitively say that something is the right answer and you don't want the discussions that tend to happen here, rather use ask.sqlservercentral.com for a StackOverflow type of interface.

with my boss a great way to close any topic is to bring up money. That stops the conversation dead. I have never found a better topic ender.
