SQL 2005 Sp4 64 bit on Win2008

    Hi guys

    Are there any known issues with applying SQL 2005 Sp4 with the services Stopped?

    Has anyone done this?

    I have 2 instances installed, default and named.

    I did SP4 installation on services stopped. it went fine without any issue.

    I have reporting services as well, does this make a difference?

    Should the SP be applied to Reporting Services as well?
