Trace Results - Include Status Message ?

  An auditor asked me if the server side trace I'm running can include the result message of updates, such as: "10 rows affected". I can't see where to capture that, but is it possible ? I'm worried about the # of rows it would add to the trace, but for now just wondering if it's possible.

  You might get what you need if you include column 48 in the trace event.

  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms186265.aspx has the data on what events can be traced, and what columns are available for them.
