My SQL agent is failing and in error logs are showing that I don't have enough storage to deliver
.mdmp file. I have 250 G available on that drive.
1. How can I find out out how big is a file and can I make it smaller or do I need it at all.
Thank you

.mdmp file is a dump file, and it by default is written under the LOG folder. This location can be changed by launching Configuration Manager, right-clicking on the service instance to select Properties, and then switching to the Advanced tab. This will show you the current value of your Dump Directory and allow you to change it. NOTE: I think the change only takes affect on a restart.
