I have recently installed then uninstalled RedGate tab magic (good product but my employer won't stump up the cash to buy it). I have now lost ctrl+T to return query results to text as this was used by Tab Magic for a different function.
Anyone know how to get it back?
Thanks

Hi Stuart,
I'm the author of SQL Tab Magic. Sorry about this issue; I've added some code in the latest version of SQL Tab Magic to fix it. The easiest way to sort things out is:
1. Download and install the latest version of SQL Tab Magic from http://www.red-gate.com/sqltabmagic
2. Run SSMS at least once
3. Uninstall the product again.
This will restore your keyboard shortcuts to normal.
If you don't wish to do this, there is an SSMS config file you can delete that will reset your keyboard shortcuts. I can't remember the details off the top of my head, but can look up the details for you if required.

Thanks for the info Theo - I also found another way.
Re-install the product, click options on the Tab Magic toolbar, deselect use keyboard shortcuts.
This restores ctrl + T to results to text

Hi Theo,
I have the same issue as Stuart, though not because of your product. If you would post the details of how to reset SSMS's default keyboard shortcuts by deleting a config file (or however), it would be HUGELY appreciated.

On my test system, to reset SSMS 2008 keyboard shortcuts, you need to move the following file so SSMS can no longer find it: (make sure all instances of SSMS are closed when you do so)
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\User.vsk
A pristine version with the default shortcuts should then be created the next time you run SSMS. If this doesn't work you could try moving the entire directory somewhere else (this will also delete lots of other settings), or repairing your SQL Server installation and then trying these steps again.
