Hi,
We are migrating/Upgrading SQL 2000 database to SQL 2008.Application is supported by Third party .But they are not taking responsibility for migrating/upgrading database they are saying they just support application they don't deal with database 🙂
One of Upgrade Advisor output is 'Outer join operators *= and =* are not supported in 90 or later compatibility modes' .
There are couple more recommendation by Upgrade advisor for system tables as well.
I'm confused as to what to do ?Should i just migrate ignoring the recommendations?
Thanks in advance

If you ignore the upgrade advisor warnings, there's a good chance the application will break on the newer version. You have to fix any errors it finds (or get the vendor to do so)

If the vendor won't support the upgrade, don't do it. Even if you only hit very minor issues, they can disavow all support and you're on your own. If you hit major issues, you'll be in serious trouble and unsupported. You have to put pressure on them to support the upgrade.
