I am managing 9 mirrored database on one instance.Is this set-up ok?

ya you can setup principle servers in one instan e and mirror dabases in one instane

OK,was acttually worried about the number of mirrored databases per instance.

With ample hardware you should be fine mirroring 9 DBs. The upper bound has to do with how many worker threads required by each mirroring session (i.e. sessions are per DB). See Paul's post here:
