Cluster group cannot be empty

    Hi,

    I've installed a single node SSAS cluster, but when adding a 2nd node to the cluster during setup, I get the error message "Cluster group cannot be empty". The cluster group has a name.

    The single node cluster is installed as a named instance while another database instance uses a default name. I can connect to the SSAS instance.

    I've tried re-validating the cluster, taking the cluster offline during installation and creating an installation ini and running setup from command line.

    However there is no switch for clustergroupname when the action is addnode, so it is ignored.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    If the errors is "The cluster group name cannot be null or empty" then the below may help?
