Hi,
I given the the Browse permission to user Scott and he is able to view the reports. But he is also able to delete the reports which I don't want to do.
So what is the role I have to give a user to just view the reports?
Thanks

Browse can just read. Scott must be a member of another group that is a member of a more privileged role.

Thanks Jason,
Please see the attached screen. I have granted the browse permission to abc\scott in Report Manager->Home->Properties page.
Under Home page of Report Manger, we have 4 folders called Folder1, Folder2, Folder3, (each folder have different application reports) and Folder4 have Data Source.
I need to grant browse permission to abc\scott only to Folder1 to view & run the reports and permission to Folder4 to view data source properties. Please advice what exactly I need to do to set up this?
But with the current set up I have, abc\scott is able to view all 4 folders and can run the reports and he also can delete the folders and reports.
And he is unable to view contents in folder4 (Data Source)
Please advice..

No. It's not.

That user must be. Browser only allows view access.

Check the builtin\administrators group on the local machine. That user is likely a member of a domain group that is a member of the builtin\administrators or he is directly added to builtin\administrators.
