File formats - backup files

    Does anyone have or know where I can find the file formats for Full Backup, Differential Backup, and Log backups?

    I have been looking about with no luck. and any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, that was good information to have but I am looking for much deeper information, I want to read the files directly without going through SQL in addition to reading more than just the metadata.
