  I have a number of reports on sharepoint (in native mode with the web part) made up to display a dashboard of sorts. When the user opens the page their active directory username is passed and therefore the dashboard is unique to the user viewing it.

  However, there is one type of user that I need to display a variance on some of the report components. I initially was thinking that having one report as a subreport, that chooses the report to use based on the query return. Turns out though, you can't do this (or at least, I can't see how).

  Is there another way that a report can be chosen based on a query response?

  you can filter the dataset using the userID
