Hello All,
I am in the process of creating a Alert for the Transaction Log Full error.
i have already setup the alert and it will send a email to the DBA team in case if the alert fires up.
I need help in creating a job that automatically kicks in in this alert fires up.
I am looking for a script that basically run on the server, scan the database names from the sys table and if in particular database log file is full , take a log back for this database.
Can any one give me an insight for this.
Thanks in advance.

Obviously my answer was deemed so unacceptably stupid that it didn't even warrant a reply... :hehe:

Clearly not much. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be off replacing my failed drive and restoring my backups.

Home PC. My clients know better (usually because I teach them, sometimes cause they learn the hard way first)

Doesn't the latter lead to the former most of the time? 😀
