SQL server 2005 setup failed. windows xp sp3

    Hello,

    I am a student.

    I am using Windows xp sp3 OS.

    I tried to reinstall SQL server 2005 (standard) on my PC. After uninstalling it and deleting all left over files and folders and clearing registry. I tried to Install it again from the CD. The Installation process goes well and wizard shows all components installed successfully. At the end, when the wizard completes installation, a pop up window appears saying the setup failed to install. pop window contains to two buttons "send a report" and "dont send".

    Please help me.

    Please go through the Summary.txt file located on C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\LOG. It will the detail about which component failed.
