How to change owned schema for an object

    Hi,

    I have given a user db_datareader under owned Schema and i want to change this to db_datawriter,but when i try to change the db_datareader check box is disable mode unable to change in SSMS.

    If any have ideal,plz let me know...

    You set the user as the owner of the db_datareader schema?

    Go into the database, Security->Schemas. Right click db_datareader and change the Schema owner back to db_datareader from the user name. Then you should be able to alter the user's roles in the database.

    EDIT: Piece of advice. Never make a user the owner of a database role or its schema. It causes too many problems.
