SQL server installation issue

  • Hi,

SQL server installation fails in cluster environment. The error code showing in bootstrap log is 67 which means network name cannot be found.

I just want to verify if the names of the network cards contain space at the end. Can you please guide me verifying the network card names and make sure the name does not contain space at the end?

  • I don't remember, honestly. Have you googled network card names? Do you have a local network admin you can speak to?

You might get better results with that method.

  • Probably already know this but... if you installing SQL Server 2008 on cluster will need to slipstream a service pack.
