Hi gurus, using replication monitor - I look at 'distributor to subscriber' history
and I see 2 distribution agent sessions running on one subscription...
one of them shows The concurrent snapshot for publication 'replication1 is not available because it has not been fully generated or the Log Reader Agent is not running to activate it. If generation of the concurrent snapshot was interrupted, the Snapshot Agent for the publication
and the other one seems to be running ok :
No replicated transactions are available.
My question is this - is it a problem that I have multiple agents running ?
Have I done something wrong when setting up my replication
publication/subscription ?

That is not a need to worry. As long as the log reader agent is running and once in while it shows something like "1 transaction(s) with 2 command" it is good. Snapshot agent runs only if there is any need to. Usually it is run only when the subscription is initialized.

thanks, is there any way to remove it?

It is part of replication. It runs once a day at a scheduled time. It does not do anything with your performance. So I do not see why you would want to remove it.
