Do you need to prefrom maintenance on subscriber db (transactional replication)?

  I have a question, but didn't find the answer jet. We use transactional replication to replicate about 10 databases to a reporting server.

  We preform daily maintenance on the publication databases, like updating statistics, rebuild or optimize indexes.

  Question I have is : Do we also need to do this on the subscriber databases or is this done using the transactional replication?

  I am not sure but, Every Sql Server need maintenance in my opinion. It may wrong,
