Hi,
I am not able to open or run the DTS packages that I copied from sql server 2000 to sql server 2008. I have backward compatibility, design components and also copied the .dll and .rll files specified in the microsoft website. Does anyone have any help?

You also might post the actual error messages. "it doesn't work" doesn't provide enough information. The list of things you said you already did helps and was basically the list I was gonna give to try.

I had a bugger of a time getting it to work on one occasion and came up with that blog post I mentioned. It details all of the steps it took me to get it to work.
