Hi there,
I'm not trying to start a panic, but we have a problem on our SQL Server 2008 R2 64bit SP1, and the specialist from our hosting company says it might have to do with Windows Update (I installed on 19 June).
For the problem: see my other post http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1128000-391-1.aspx
The problem (in short: SQLServer and SQLServer Agent services stop after an error) never occurred until the Windows Update was done, and since then (less than 24 hous) twice already. The preliminary findings are that it probably is an SQL bug.
I'll keep you all posted

Thank you for the heads up Raymond - have you opened a case with Microsoft? what they have to say?

In the last 24 hours it didn't happen again, thank God. My hosting company is still investigating. Microsoft has received the dumpfiles and is also looking into it.....

Hi folks. I am running Vista Home Premium and am having problems starting my Outlook. When the Outlook icon is clicked, a message appears indicating that it is attempting to connect to the SQL server, then the following occurs (see screen shots)...
Can anyone please help me with this problem. I am very much a layman at this, so as plain as possible would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
AH
