Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '.' to data type int

    How can I fix this error, I am inserting data and get this:

    Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '.' to data type int

    select convert(int,'.') --fails

    select convert(money,'.') --0.00

    so if your data is only a period, what value did you expect?
