Nice question.
It's a bit worrying that 50% of answers included "resource cost plans"; maybe even more worrying that 14% failed to include "query plan".

Good question, thankslooking at the percentage of incorrect answers at this point in time (71%), makes one wonder...
It's possible that 71% of answers are from people who aren't already expert DBAs but (like me) come to this site to broaden their knowledge. As a senior developer I'd be disappointed if I got a T-SQL question wrong but I didn't know this one straight off.
