Hi,
Is it possible that you have the SQLAgent down which wont allow you to view jobs in SSMS ?
In such a case you will be able to create Maintenance Plan (which has associated jobs) but not see the jobs created.
Can you post more on the issue and/or if any error seen at the time ?
Thanks,

It can be a case of sp4 not applied properly..
When we apply sp4 it asks for the areas to which it should apply...
If u can remember were all areas selected?

Hi,
Can you check the installation summary file ?
You can find it probably at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Hotfix
also check if any error logged for SQL ..

What is the OS on which you have SQL installed ?
are you able to use all other features/functaionality of SQL Enterprise w/o any problems ? or this is just with the SQL Agent ?
