What kind of training do you recommend for SQL servers. My boss wants to send me for training , so I am trying to figure out the best class I can take.
I am fairly new to this. I am not a full time DBA. I work in building automation engineering. But my discipline is starting to cross heavily with IT.
I would like to learn how to configure servers in general. Data backup and recover. Replace Hardware and such. Also DB backup scenarios and how to implement a backup strategy.
I have decnet knowledge of T-SQL. But my weakness is Hardware mostly. I am trying to take myself to the next level.
I would appreciate your input.
