Hi All,
I have been working on SQL server for 3 years now and much of my knowledge is self taught and developed upon since I made the transition from MS Access. As such I have never taken any formal courses or education on the subject, I have picked things up from colleagues and countless Google searches over time.
I started my career with a company whom I had been fortunate enough to have a placement with whilst at Universtiy and have been with them since. I now feel that its time for me to move on and have managed to secure a couple of interviews.
My problem is although I am confident that given pretty much any challenge in SQL I would be able to find a solution (eventually!!) the interviews will consist of some "technical questions". I have no idea what form these technical questions might take and am concerned that these questions may trip me up and not fully show what I am capable of.
The two roles in question are; "Application Engineer" this role has quite a large focus on MI Reporting along with some .net programming (which I have begun to experiment with over the last 6 months or so), and "Technical Analyst" I haven't been sent a job spec for this one just yet (as I applied for a different role with the company but they want to interview me for this role also based on previous experience) but again has a large focus on looking at the applications database end and working on data integrity and alike.
If anyone could suggest what sort of questions might be asked, either from a recent interview or from an interviewers point of view, and also how i should prepare on a more general basis I would really appreciate it.

Completely and totally depends on the interviewer. Don't memorise questions & answers, it's trivial for an experienced interview to tell that's what you've done.
Don't exaggerate your skills, don't be afraid to admit you don't know, have an idea how you would find out if necessary.
