We lost all our connection strings and credentials in our data sources

    Hi,

    We performed a re-install of a server this weekend. We detached all databases, uninstalled SQL Server 2008 R2, reinstalled SQL Server 2008 R2 and SSRS, installed SP1 then attached all our databases.

    This morning our reports were not working and it turns our that all data sources has a blank connection string and had "Credentials not required" where previously we had "Credentials stored securely in the report server".

    Does anyone know why this occurred?

    I am not sure this is your issue because security is not my strong suit, but did you back up and restore the reporting services key? It sounds like it could be related to your issue.
