Hi to all.
This is my first job.
Basically i am an Oracle Certified Professional worked 1 year as a Developer and now i switch my job as a SQL Server DBA.
Can anyone let me know where should i start?
Which things do i need to know and where is the best way to get it (in sql servercentral)?
Please let me know if anyone have tutorials or video to start with.
Greatly appreciate your help in advance.

Reading a book and working with the product will help you a lot. Try to pick up a good book on SQL, Ms press Self-paced training kit will be a good resource to start up. Download an evaluation copy of the product, try to perform all the administrative tasks by yourself on your test machines.
Do documentation, how you do doesn't matter, but you should have one. It will help you to quickly lookup a thing. Visit forums regularly, it will help your learning... the more you talk to people, share your knowledge, you will learn a lot. Ask when you are in doubt, and post more details about the problem... to get a quick answer....
Hope, this give some idea... Sorry, if I took some other ways...
