Hello,
I would like to change my SQL agent (SQL 2k SP4) from local system to a domain user account, but after I entered the credentials in EM, I get a message telling me that EM does not have sufficient priviliages to veryify the account. I've done this lots of times in the past and not had this. I'm I missing something? The server is not replicating anything either.
Hope someone can help.
Regards,
D.

Hello, thanks for getting back.
Its a bog standard domain account that has 'log on as a service' right on the local machine. I was under the impression that changing the account in EM meant the account was automatically given the required permissions, like SQL 2005 configuration manager does.
Cheers,
D.
