How to get Database in mix mode?

  Hi,

  I have installed SQL Server 2005 on my pc but it's in windows authentication now i want it to Both windows and database authentication. when i am going to server properties and click on SQL Server and Windows authentication mode and click ok then it's giving me error.....

  The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'xp_instance_regwrite', database 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 229)
