  • how to access EM in client system for sqlserver2008..?

  • EM as in SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager?

can you explain a little better what you want? are you looking for a GUI application to access SQL 2008? like SQL Server Management Studio?

  • s exactly

  • obvious choice would be to simply install the SSMS Client tools.

Another option would be an application like LinqPad, which has most of the things you'd look for in an app: an object browser, multiple query windows, and syntax highlighting.

it's completely portable and doesn't require an install; I like to keep that on a thumb drive as part of my PortableApps collection.
