Alram tables

  • Hi,everyone

How to check the alerts using alram tables?

New to field so please do help me

  • I'm not sure what you mean. I'm assuming "alram tables" is a typo for "alarm tables", but even that doesn't clarify the question for me.

  • I think that the sysalerts table in msdb is updated with the last occurrence, but I don't think there's a history table of all alerts that have occurred.

  • I'm in the same boat as Gus, could you clarify Alarm Tables?

  • I had a job that throws a error "check alarm tables for failed alerts"

so i need to find that alert in the alarm tables?

    thanks for your quick response

  • That would be a custom error, most likely. Check for that.

  • What's the job do? I'm not sure that's a SQL Server message.

  • Its a alram monitoring job

  • Do you have third party monitoring software that may have installed some tables by that name?
