Hello friends, would like to know and learn about the performance issues and troubleshoot the issues step by step.
is there any book or videos which can guide from the basics with examples:
it would be a great help. because i am confused and dont know where to start and how to start (implementing)

If you're interested in query-tuning performance, check-out this link. The book is available for free download, but I like paperbacks better, so I actually purchased it. I'm up to "Chapter 3". I really like the examples and the way Grant steps through the execution plans.

Since you're asking, I'll come right out & say it, look at my signature line and try my book on performance tuning.
In addition, I'd strongly recommend getting Itzik Ben-Gan's book "Inside TSQL Querying." Knowing how to write good code, the first time, is the best performance tuning option you can take.
