How do you shedule a report to be emailed at a specific time/date?

in the report server, browse to your report and then select the subscriptions tab > new subscription ...

the only way i have at the minute of opening the report is through the report builder
is this the right place?
if not how should i be accessing the report

you should have the web interface ....
something like http://<YOUR SERVER NAME>/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx

any idea how i could work out what this url is?

In the Report Builder, you should have the option to Open from Server. This would have the server's address.

its a sharepoint application
