Hello Gurus
I have a issue with secondary data file.
On one my production database I created a secondary data file since the disk is running out of space. Secondary data file size is 1 gb initial size and restricted growth to 4gb. Now the issue is I am trying to increase the initial size from 1 gb to 2 gb, at the moment it is accepting , but when i look into it next day it reverted back to 1 gb though the disk has enough space. I did try couple of times but not luck.
How can I fix the issue. Kindly help me.

why are you trying to increase the initial size? You have the file setup to extend as needed up to 4Gb. I hope you put the second file on a separate drive

Check database properties to see if autoshrink is enabled.
