Hi All,
I've set up a Maintenance Plan Job on an SQL Server 2000 on few Databases including the system Databases. It seems to run fine on some of the Databases except for one and all the system Databases. I looked for the error message under the Database Maintenance Plan History and the error is "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Repair statement not processed. Database needs to be in single user mode." I'm trying to avoid switching the database from multi user to single user because the Database that failed is a live Database which is used for reporting. Would anyone let me know how I can solve this problem please.
Thank you

under the integrity checks tab there is a tick box that reads something like 'try to repair any errors'. Untick that.
you just want to check the database integrity without trying to repair anything. That requires singe user mode and you don't want tot repair anyway without seeing what the issues are.
