Guys
We have just migrated a database to SQL 2008 and have hit major issues with load performance from the old DMO app that uses Bulk Copy to get data into the load tables. The main issue is that it seems to be switching the database recovery model to RECMODEL_70BACKCOMP when it does a load.
We are looking for alternative ways to get the data in and BULK INSERT is looking like a good short term fix. Can anyone let me know if we can easily run the database in SIMPLE recovery model and then load data using BULK INSERT without it whinging.
Cheers in advance.

That is what we were thinking, the fact that there is no compatability mode for 7 on 2008.
Cheers for the comment on BULK INSERT, nice to know that others are of the same inclination.
Cheers once again.
