Hi,
Has anyone encountered any negative side effects after installing the SQL 2008 client on same workstation as SQL 2005 client ?

No negative side effects. I have 2000, 2005, and 2008 installed. I will note that I prefer to use the 2008 tools though.

I have 200, 2005, and 2008. I no longer use the 2005 SSMS. No problems
