Connection and Task Icons Missing in DTS Designer

    Hi,

    I noticed this morning that when I open my DTS packages I get an "exception error" and when I click "OK" the packages open but all my CONNECTION icons except "Data Link" and "Other Connections" are missing. Also all of the TASK icons are gone.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Did you find a solution for missing TASK icons in DTS packages? I'm having the same problem. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling client tools with no luck.

    No I didn't. I have since migrated to SSIS.
