    I am getting the below error at my subscription. This is a transactional pull replication.

    Agent message code 20084. The process could not connect to Distributor.

    You didnt say if this is an existing job that just stopped working or a new job you are trying to setup

    Its a new job, it is the permissions issues.

    As I gave permissions to the service acocunt at the source, replication is working like a charm.
