guys, i just did a clean installation of sql server 2008 on windows 7 ultimate, i know the password, but i cant open the sql server (look at the pics)
any1 can help me pls, i already search at other sites about different solutions, but no use.

Try using . (a dot), (local) or localhost as servername.
Also, go to SQL Server Configuration Manager and make sure the instance is up and running. While you're there, look at the servername of SQL Server.

Please check the entries in System/Application event log, SQL Server Error Log for the possible reasons for the SQL Server service not starting up.
