Hello guys,
I would like to know what is the difference between SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2?
Is SQL 2008 R2 equal to SQL 2008 SP2?
I'm sorry if it seems a dumb question but this something that has been bothering me for a while.
Thanks

In cases like this nothing beats official documentation. Lots of differences, check SS2K8R2 features here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993.aspx

No, it is not.
