We have 2 sql server 2005 instances on one server(INT1&INT2).I have recently upgraded INT1 SQL2005 instance to SQL2008R2.And I've left the INT2 instance on 2005 but the SSIS instance for the machine has been upgraded along with the INT1 instance (as we expected it would be).
I've checked that this is a supported scenario.
The SSIS packages will point to INT2 instance. But SSIS instance for the machine is upgraded to 2008 R2 however packages need to point to 2005 INT2 instance only. The packages are not running now.
How to resolve this problem?
