Hi folks,
I need to change the passwords for the domain accounts running SQL SERVER services in the active passive fail over environment.
what could be the best way to do this? and Secondly changing the password on the active node automatically takes effect in the passive node since they are in cluster ?

If you are using a Domain account to run your services,
Follow these steps:
1) Change the password in AD
2) Change the Password on the Node2 Services
3) Force a Failover from Node1 to Node2
4) Change the password on Node1
To answer your question, the answer is simply NO.
What you do from an administrative perspective on one server, it is not replicated to the other by the Cluster Service.
If you add an account or modify and account or service on one node, you must do it on the other node as well.
