A quick question:
Would anyone ever use platespin as a DR solution for SQL?
Is it better to use SQL mirroring or would anyone use a different technology?
example of setup:
2 servers, one can be passive so you only need one live server at a time, the servers are seperated physically in two seperate data centres.
Thanks

Some questions need an answer...
- How big is the network pipe in between both datacenters?
- Do you have point-to-point connectivity in between datacenters with any assured SLA?... or are you depending on public internet for connectivity?
- What's the latency in between datacenters?
- What's your SLA to get DR server up when primary goes down?
- What's your SLA in terms of loosing primary site transactions in case of a crash?
