I mistakenly installed SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise on my desktop. I've not registered it yet. Still on the grace period. Is it possible to change Enterprise to Developer 2008 R2 without re-installing? Can I just use the Developer Ed. key when it's time to register? If I understand correctly, the only difference between the two is license terms.

You can probably use a Dev license key, but I don't know that for certain.
Otherwise, un- and re-install. Shouldn't take all that long unless you've set up a really complex environment.
