Add 2 nodes with more CPUs and Memoryies to an Existing SQL Cluster

    Hi

    I am going to add 2 nodes to my existing 2-nodes SQL Cluster. SQL Server 2005 Ent Ed SP2. Windows Server 2003 R2 Ent Ed SP2.

    The new does have more CPUs and Memories than the old ones.

    Just wonder any special attention needed in the installation. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

    Here is the official documentation from Microsoft.

    Since the new nodes will have more Memory and CPU, ensure to increase the Max memory if you have set it in the existing instance. Nothing to worry about if it is set to default
