The default trace side cannot be made larger,but can an article be written that shows how to duplicate the functionality of the default trace and then make the file size/rollover larger/longer.
T-SQL encouraged, Profiler/SSMS is OK.

I'll take it. Shouldn't take long to put it together. Probably be a combo of Profiler & T-SQL

Jack I've got a minor article i contributed that can help you with that:

the discussion for it has the results for the default trace as well as the C2 Audit trace, so that can help you with the gathering of the settings;
Then you can emphasize which settings to tweak and why.
